POSITION SUMMARY
The Plant Controller will lead financial analysis, business analysis, budgeting, cost control, cost accounting, and reporting for operations.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Plant Controller must assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Oversee the creation of annual operating, capital, and financial budgets for the Contract Manufacturing division and operational teams.
- Provide recommendations to enhance financial performance continuously.
- The Plant Controller will implement inventory control systems and valuation processes.
- Conduct research, generate analyses, and manage projects.
- Prepare performance reports, analysis, and recommendations to support business objectives.
- Assist in preparing quotes for new and existing business and assess the potential financial impact of new opportunities.
- The Plant Controller will review, analyze, and report on variances in costing, inventory, and production.
- Analyze standard costs, review cost changes, and evaluate labor and overhead rate adjustments, as well as other production-related changes.
- Develop and maintain strong control procedures across operational sites, including:
- Inventory management and processes (Cycle Counting, E&O analysis).
- Fixed assets management, including physical inventory and tagging.
- Revenue recognition.
- GAAP and SOX compliance.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- The Plant Controller must hold a degree in finance/ accounting.
- Must have 6-8 years of financial experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Must have expertise in SAP (Hana), Access, and Excel.
- Must have 3 years of supervisory experience.
- Must have 6 years of experience in GAAP, SOX compliance.
