Responsibilities
Responsible for the process design, operation and implementation
To improve industrial processes in order to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability and maximize profitability
Ensure all startup activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards
Report regularly on project progress, including financial performance and key milestones
Propose, develop and implement solutions for process improvements
Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as necessary
To provide guidance and support to the Production Manager and Production Supervisors
To assist in the development of processing and changeover plans
To work with the Production Manager to make decisions about equipment use, maintenance, modification and procurement
Oversee procurement and installation of equipment, ensuring compliance with specifications and timelines
Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs)
To prepare and review project proposal, studies and technical reports
Support or lead continuous improvement activities such as Kaizen, Fishbone, 5-Why, DMAIC, process mapping, etc
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
3 plus years of experience in Process Engineering
Certification in Six Sigma
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Strong understanding of dairy processing equipment, technologies, and best practices
Continuous improvement and lean tools
Implement manufacturing processes
CAD assembly drawing
Perform process analysis
Kaizen improvement
Proven work experience in process engineering
Excellent technical skills
Knowledge of process related standards
Experience in process simulations
Working knowledge of process engineering software packages
Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills
