Responsibilities
- Continuously review and enhance manufacturing processes, focusing on product flow and performance metrics
- Measure and analyze key performance indicators, proposing changes to drive improvements during periodic meetings
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and other departments to review, analyze, and implement changes
- Regularly assess areas such as on-time delivery, machine cycle and setup times, department backlogs, spindle usage efficiency, and supplier performance
- Monitor and manage the cost of quality, including scrap parts and rework labor
Qualifications
- Degree in manufacturing or engineering-related field is a plus
- Over 5 years of experience in manufacturing
- More than 2 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing
- Proficient with ERP systems
