Responsibilities
- Analyze root causes of customer complaints and returns, and participate in corrective actions
- Ensure timely completion of gage calibration and maintain/update Visual Aids
- Fill in for various quality department roles to understand quality requirements and processes
- Provide technical training and create work instructions, operating procedures, and rework instructions
- Contribute to control plans, maintain ISO/QS procedures, and generate necessary quality documentation (AIAG, APQP, FMEA, MSA, PPAP)
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent is required. Associate’s Degree in Engineering preferred.
- Experience working as a quality engineer in a die casting environment, preferably with ISO/TS 16949 standards
- Automotive Industry experience a highly preferred.
- Previous experience as an internal auditor
- Bilingual English Spanish a plus
