Requirements
- Ensure adherence to regulatory, customer, and company quality system requirements
- Direct Laboratory Managers and Quality Department personnel, and manage investigations of Out of Specification results.
- Serve as the primary quality contact for new and existing customers to ensure products meet established standards
- Communicate quality system status to production management, conduct routine audits, and maintain Master Product Records
- Develop and implement policies and procedures, submit required reports, and handle special projects as directed by senior management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is required with a strong emphasis in biology, chemistry, physics, geology or environmental science.
- 5 years Management / Supervisory experience in a regulated environment
- 5 years’ experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control
- Able to travel to nearby plants.
- Prior experience working within a cGMP compliant Quality Management System
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business information, journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
