Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain inspection criteria, documentation, and external specifications to ensure compliance with customer requirements, including revisions and AS9102 inspection forms
- Oversee corrective and preventive action processes, handle non-conforming materials, and evaluate supplier performance through ratings and audits
- Establish in-process inspection points, review purchase orders for quality requirements, and develop SPC plans for key characteristics
- Create and manage project documentation such as PPAPs, PFMEAs, and balloon drawings, while supporting audits and resolving customer deviations
Qualifications
- BS Degree in relevant fields with min. 5 yrs. of Quality related experience
- Knowledge and requirements of AS9100 & AS13100 standards
- 5 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing
- Demonstrated teamwork and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to manage projects and deliver results effectively
- Solid computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications, with preferred expertise in Continuous Improvement initiatives and Lean Manufacturing practices
