Responsibilities
- Plan and direct activities to ensure high-quality processes, materials, and finished products, and implement procedures for recording and reporting quality data
- Interface with customers regarding quality issues, work closely with the Production Manager and related departments to maintain standards.
- Establish programs to measure the precision of production and testing equipment, investigate customer complaints, and develop methods for handling discrepant materials
- Direct and assist in training workers in the Inspection and Laboratory Departments, participate in internal/external audits, and complete Cause & Corrective Action Forms
Qualifications
- Experience with metal finishing, plating, and industrial coatings
- 5 years of demonstrated experience in supervisory or managerial roles
- Experience in project management
- Experience with regulatory agencies such as the FAA, EPA, OSHA, etc., is a plus
