The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive safety training programs to ensure all employees are aware of workplace safety protocols and procedures. They will assess various job tasks to identify potential hazards and develop Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) to outline safe work practices.
Key qualifications include at least 8 years of safety experience, a High School Diploma or equivalent work experience, and good experience in taking steps to prevent injuries from becoming recordables. Metal experience is a must, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook. The ideal candidate should also have played a key role in establishing and executing a Behavioral Based Safety (BBS) Program.
