Job Overview:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for utilizing their analytical skills to analyze and interpret financial data, then relating it to potential business trends and issues.
This candidate will feel comfortable using insights they have discovered to communicate important themes and discoveries to company leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scan supporting documents and forward to shared service team.
- SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS: Must be able to obtain proper approvals, providing supporting documents, guiding relevant GL codes & Dept codes.
- Cut checks and obtain signatories and mail checks to vendors.
- Review aged AP ageing report once in a week and follow up with shared service team for up-to-date information.
- Reconcile AP Ageing and GL.
- Responsible for posting COGS / Inventory entries.
- SUPPORT MONTHLY MIS REPORTS FOR INTERNAL MANAGEMENT.
- Assist with month-end closing.
- Maintain detailed listings of the contents of all balance sheet accounts.
- Assist auditors with journal entry examinations.
- Provide supporting documentation for audits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 4 years of experience in Accounts payable, inventory and General accounting.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft skills.
- Experience in Oracle financial preferred.
