Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Complete understanding of DOT Rules and Regulations
- Manage cost of transportation and cost per truckload
- Drivers management
- Logistics
- Oversee and manage the transportation operations of the company
- Develop and implement transportation strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs
- Coordinate and schedule transportation activities, including the movement of goods and personnel
- Overseeing the daily maintenance of vehicles in the fleet
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws governing transportation operations
- Monitor and analyze transportation data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Monitor transportation costs
- Scheduling daily and weekly routes
- Organizational and time management skills
- Maintain records of vehicle use and maintenance
- DOT compliance and training
- Contract and project management experience
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Must promote and maintain excellent customer service skills
- Lead and coach team to solve problems
- Proficient in using transportation management software and systems
- Valid driver's license
