Inventory Control Clerk - Job Requirements
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- 1-3 years of experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a related field.
- Experience with inventory management software (e.g., Epicor, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is a plus.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in counting and recording inventory.
- Basic math and data entry skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with warehouse staff, suppliers, and other departments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move inventory items weighing up to 50 lbs. or more.
- Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods in a warehouse environment.
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures.
Key Responsibilities (General Knowledge Required):
- Track and record incoming and outgoing inventory.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records in the inventory management system.
- Assist in investigating and resolving inventory issues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Generate inventory reports and assist with audits.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
