Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front office operations, ensuring high standards of guest service are maintained.
- Manage front desk staff, providing training and support to enhance their performance.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and care.
- Coordinate night audit processes to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
- Implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery throughout the hotel.
- Monitor occupancy rates and adjust staffing levels accordingly to meet demand.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and employee engagement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality management or front office operations within a hotel setting.
- Union experience a plus.
- Strong guest service skills with a passion for enhancing the guest experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with guests and staff.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with night audit procedures is a plus but not required.
