AKA Hotels Hotel Residences is recruiting a Manager of Key Accounts and Sales Operations. This individual will lead efforts in representing the Residence portfolio to the corporate housing and relocation community. Additionally, this individual will assist the VP of Sales on reporting, training and initiatives across entire hotel and residence portfolio. The Manager of Key Accounts and Sales Operations is collaborative, highly organized, results-oriented, and team focused.
Responsibilities
- Represent AKA Hotels Hotel Residences as key contact with Relocation Management Companies and Corporate Housing Providers - securing reservations, offering best possible service
- Quickly respond to RFP requests via the approved platforms as well as quick replies to client requests, conversions, and strong internal relationships with the property team
- Partner with Key Account Manager daily, to include coverage as required
- Utilize SELL by Zendesk CRM, daily, to track pipeline, and lost business
- Partner with Sales leaders and Managing Directors in all markets to convert business– providing a weekly pipeline of pending business, client feedback, and closed deals
- Partner with property teams to ensure monthly rates are favorable for both the clients and the properties, suggesting changes and updates based on lead volume
- Fluent on suite types provided to key clients, in all markets
- Assist VP of sales with onboarding new sales hires, brand wide on CRM and prospecting tools, such as Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, SELL by Zendesk, Delphi
- Versed with all hotels residences in all locations, able to quickly step in any capacity (admin, services, or sales) should a property have team member transition
- Support Sales Leaders across the brand, to ensure best reporting and contracts are in use
- Assist VP of Sales with new acquisitions, to include joining on property teams for training, support in both process, systems, and brand standards
- Partner with marketing team to share property specific promotions and information with database
- Prepare companywide weekly reports from multiple systems
- Perform other ad-hoc projects as required by VP, Sales
Desired Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university
- Minimum of (5) years in a hotel environment, sales, or revenue, one year in management preferred
- Experience with Amadeus Delphi/ASEM, Opera and other Sales CRM systems
- Ability to be flexible with work location in NYC, ttend and participate in all required team and client meetings
- Ability to travel on request for property support and networking opportunities
