This role will contribute significantly to the success of high-profile campaigns. Reporting to the Head of Paid Media, the Media Planner is a full-time exempt position that is based in New York City.WHAT YOU'LL DO : Collaborates with the paid media team for the planning and implementation of media campaigns, covering digital video & display, print, OOH, and emailMonitor and optimize online programs to ensure effective pacing and performanceDraft and issue Request for Proposals (RFPs) to media publishersAssist in evaluating media publisher proposals, engaging in Q&A sessions, and negotiating media placement and pricingContribute to the development of campaign presentations and reporting materialsUtilize campaign management, google analytics, and ad verification tools to analyze campaign performanceCreate, deploy, and accurately maintain insertion ordersKeep creative spec sheets up to dateCoordinate vendor meetings and manage scheduling as neededStay informed of industry trends and developments related to media planningWHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR : 2-4 years of experience in advertising / marketing, communications, media, or a related roleGoogle Campaign manager experience requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and OutlookDemonstrated leadership skills with ability to work as part of a team and autonomouslySelf-starter who can take initiative, problem solve, and thrive in a fast-paced environmentMeticulous attention to detail and accuracyGenuine interest in advertising and passion for the theatrical, arts, institutions, travel, and tourism categoriesCapable of thriving in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously.WHAT WE OFFER : A competitive salary between $62,500 - $65,000, commensurate with experienceA generous PTO policy1 / 2 day Summer Fridays100% employer-paid healthcare for employees100% employer-paid dental care for employeesFlexible working hoursHybrid position : minimum three days per week in officeWFA for set weeks during the yearTraining and Development fund per employeePaid parental leave to a maximum of 12 paid weeksStudent loan repayment assistance (or tuition assistance) with years of servicePaid sabbatical with years of servicePet-friendly officeA Note on Diversity and InclusionAt AKA we believe our team is at its best when we reflect the diversity of our community.
