The Food Runner at AKAI plays a vital role in ensuring timely and accurate food delivery to guests. You will work closely with the kitchen and service teams to maintain the highest food presentation and service standards. Experience is welcomed but not required.
We seek individuals who are quick, efficient, and have a keen eye for detail. This position offers part-time and full-time opportunities, with shifts typically from 2 pm to midnight. Full-time employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including medical insurance and vacation time.
Duties:
- Assist with food preparation and plating in the kitchen as needed.
- Ensure that all food and beverages are delivered to the correct location in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and other team members to ensure smooth service.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including the kitchen and private dining spaces.
- Provide exceptional customer service by being attentive, friendly, and helpful.
- Help with bussing tables and cleaning up spills and messes.
- Follow food handling and preparation guidelines to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety.
