Job Description:
As a Kitchen Expo, you will be a crucial part of our kitchen staff, ensuring that dishes are prepared to our high standards and presented beautifully to our customers. Your role will involve coordinating the flow of orders, communicating between the kitchen staff and front of house, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality dishes.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and expedite the flow of dishes from the kitchen to the dining room.
- Ensure that all orders are prepared with accuracy and presented beautifully.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and front of house staff to manage order timing and address any immediate issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo area.
- Assist in kitchen tasks when needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
- A passion for food and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and quality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Evening availability is a must, as restaurant hours are predominantly in the evenings.
