HILLSIDE VILLAGE CONDOMINIUM
SUPERINTENDENT POSITION
Superintendent position is a 40-hour work week, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM with one hour for lunch. This is a live off site, non-union position. The salary is $23-$27 per hour depending on experience. The employee will have all federal holidays off with pay and sick time. One week vacation will be offered in the first year, with an increase to two weeks in the second year. Superintendent must be available for all emergencies, after hours and on weekends. Employee will be required to have a cell phone and a building email. The start date of this position will be in January 2025.
Submit payroll weekly
Report all issues including emergencies to the managing agent
Check boilers, oil motors, add water to boiler and check oil tanks
Check all emergency lighting once a month
Walk grounds every day and note any repairs, throw our any debris on floor or grounds
Oversee all move-in's and move-outs. Write report to management of any damages.
Meet contractors and engineers regarding renovations
Supervise building projects
Organize garbage/recycling
Order all supplies
Answer all work orders
Return all phone calls & emails
Clean the office
Sweep debris off common areas and pool deck
Carpentry work
Painting work
Changing of light bulbs
Contact vendors
Attend monthly board meetings
Check pool area & pool equipment.
Clean & maintain pool bathrooms
Put pool furniture out/away, clean it, get repaired if needed
Snow removal/Salt Application- When needed to maintain safety, work with snow contractor
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
