Med/Surg RN
Location: Detroit, MI 48236
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 7pm-7:30am, EOW
Pay rate: $55/hr. on w2 with benefits
Weekly expected hours: 36
- Med Surg/Tele Charge leadership a plus Willing to accept 5 to 6 patients each day Team player Schedule o 3-days – night shift o 7pm – 730am **required to work every other weekend and every other holiday**
Job Summary:
Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
Required Skills & Experience:
-Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department to which staff is assigned.
-Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
-Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
Certifications & Licenses:
- BLS
- RN
