Psych RN
Location: Northampton, MA 01060
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 7am-3:30pm, EOW, 32 hrs./week
Pay rate: $60/hr. on w2 with benefits
Weekly expected hours: 32
- 32 hours, day shift with every other weekend rotation.
- The Inpatient Staff Nurse is a Registered Nurse who as a member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team provides nursing care to assigned patients, through the use of the nursing process.
- Provides for patient safety by maintenance of a safe milieu and determining how to utilize the milieu to meet patient’s needs.
- The Inpatient Staff Nurse practices under the supervision of the Medical Director. Unit-Specific Education Requirements
- BLS certification required.
- De-Escalation training required within 60 days of hire or transfer into department.
Unit-Specific Experience Requirements
- Psychiatric and geriatric nursing experience preferred.
- Demonstrated excellent technical, interpersonal, organizational, oral and written communication skills required.
- Psychiatric and geriatric nursing experience preferred.
- Other ongoing retraining is also required.
