About the Role:
In this newly created position, the Inventory Analyst is responsible for the accurate recording of all inventory transactions according to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and company procedures. Under general supervision from the Financial Analyst and Inventory Manager performs a variety of duties in receiving, reconciling, handling, and accounting for inventory.
Responsibilities:
- Process container receiving into the ERP system (Sage 100 ERP)
- Calculate landed cost
- Receive and invoice airfreight and drop shipments
- Work closely and collaboratively with the procurement team to resolve issues and discrepancies relating to purchase orders, receipts, invoices, landed costs, adjustments, etc.
- Develop, run, review, and analyze business metrics and reports in Power BI and/or MS Excel related to inventory
- Manage ad hoc projects based on management’s request
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Related Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a similar position
- 2 years of related work experience
- Experience in report writing through SQL, Microsoft Query, and Microsoft Power BI
- ERP system Knowledge, Advanced Microsoft Office experience with strong Excel skills (Pivot Table, V Look ups)
- Detailed-oriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy
- Solid project management and organizational skills
- Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

Salary : $52,000 - $66,500
