Position Summary
The Fork Truck Operator operates a powered industrial fork truck for the purpose of transporting units of finished product from the converting operation and load that product into trailers for shipment to the customer or to the outside warehouse.

Removes units of finished product from the conveyor lines at banding operationTransports units to the staging areas in preparation for shipmentTransports units into outbound trailers for shipment to the customer or the warehouseUnloads inbound trailers containing either raw materials, purchased product, or finished goods from the warehouseCompletes required paperwork including quantities and unit counts on the Factory Job Ticket and Shipping Bill of LadingOperates a tractor to move trailers throughout the propertyPerforms daily fork truck inspectionsMaintains good housekeeping in the shipping areas and trailersAbility to work in excess of 40 hours, as business needs ariseRegular and reliable attendanceAny other task or duty that is deemed necessary by management.Cultural Competencies
