AKHIRE is currently recruiting for the following position :
IT Network Systems Administrator / Troubleshooter
23-25 Hr. - Full-time Position
Schedule M-F 8-5
Juneau, AK
No Relocation is provided for this position. Must reside in Juneau, AK
Position Summary : IT Network Systems Administrator
- The Systems Administrator will manage specific client IT environments including MS Exchange e-mail, file / print, Office 365, hardware and unique software, VMWare virtual servers, and backup servers and their associated operating systems and software.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot moderately complex application server hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
- Manage Microsoft patch deployments.
- Secure systems to (and maintaining compliance with) appropriate cybersecurity policies.
- Recommend, schedule, and perform network improvements, upgrades, and repairs.
- Perform system backups and recovery
- Resolve escalated Help Desk issues.
- Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures and associated training plans for network resource administration, appropriate use, and disaster recover

Requirements
Systems Knowledge needed : IT Network Systems Administrator / Troubleshooter
Proficient understanding of technology areas such as Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy and DFS.
Salary : $23 - $25
