-Assist in the development of comprehensive behavioral health programs and services for students.
-Ensure services align with AAAHC Behavioral Health Standards, Quality of Care Standards, and other applicable IHS and state guidelines.

Collaboration and Community Engagement:
-Work closely with Chemawa Indian School staff, tribal health services, law enforcement, community organizations, and other stakeholders to promote behavioral health initiatives.
-Serve on multidisciplinary teams to plan and implement therapeutic services and activities for youth.

Training and Education:
-Participate in and lead local training programs for staff and students on topics such as addiction recovery, prevention, and crisis intervention.
-Provide education on patient confidentiality, substance abuse, and cultural sensitivity within the Indigenous community.

Compliance and Quality Assurance:
-Maintain compliance with IHS immunization requirements, accreditation processes, and licensing standards.
-Participate in continuous quality improvement processes and program evaluation.
-Provide monthly program evaluation data, including patient metrics, service impact, and program outcomes.

Cultural Competency:
-Demonstrate sensitivity and awareness of the traditions, cultures, and values of American Indian and Alaska Native populations.
-Integrate cultural practices into care and recovery processes to enhance patient engagement and outcomes.

Qualifications:

Education: Master of Social Work (MSW) or equivalent degree from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).

Licensure: Current, unrestricted license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent in the United States, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or U.S. territories. Must remain in good standing throughout the contract term.
