Job Summary RiverTech LLC seeks an Aerospace Production Supervisor will coordinate teams of technicians in support of depot level maintenance production and services of a large aircraft production divisions, subordinate branches, and sections with the responsibilities and functions to support aircraft weapon systems, i.e., UH-60, Blackhawk; CH-47 Chinook; Recapitalization; Crash Damage; and AH-64 Apache. The Production Supervisor will oversee a team of technicians, repairmen, fabricators, welders, machinists, painters, and assemblers, as well as inspect work to make sure standards have been met, provide support and advice with issues, and coordinate the maintenance of equipment. Ensures compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) and program Quality Management System (QMS). Knowledgeable of American National Standards Institute/International Standards Organization/American Society for Quality (ANSI/ISO/ASQ) Q9001-2000 quality management systems requirements, applicable CCAD SOPs, DOD Regulations and the Privacy Act. Responsibilities: - The Production Supervisor ensures that facilities and processes conform to good manufacturing process standards by managing Quality Systems and documents. - The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing numerous personnel. He/she shall resolve all personnel issues in coordination with Human Resource Representative. - The Production Supervisor shall ensure that CCAD regulations are adhered to, that all related forms and records are completed accurately and on time. - The Production Supervisor is responsible for personal assignments, transactions, workmanship, schedules, training, quality control, overall production and administration of on-site field team operations. - The Production Supervisor shall have excellent verbal and writing skills and well versed in communicating with the customer on all levels. - Providing a safe work environment for all employees in the Finishing Department. - Ensure all production orders are processed within CCAD’s customer specifications. - Knowledge and execution of 6S. - Schedule employees and production to meet daily customer demands. - The ability to interact within all levels of CCAD’s organization. - Using proper judgment to stop production when improper work conditions exist. - Maintaining quality systems in accordance with ISO 9001-2000 standards (poke yokes, quality checks, etc) to ensure camshafts are meeting customer specifications. - Assign and lead daily tasks that align with the production schedule. - Bring to the attention of your supervisor as quickly as possible any issues that may arise. - Ability to read and follow work instructions, understand customer specifications, blueprints & drawings. - Ability to support several improvement projects at one time. Skills and Abilities - Excellent Written and Verbal communication skills. - Broad knowledge of production planning processes. - Strategic planning skills. - Able to deal with complex issues in a fast-paced setting. - Self-motivated with a results-driven approach. - Ability to problem solve. - Leadership experience. - Ability to lead a team to meet critical schedules and resolve technical issues. - Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. - Ability to understand aircraft work instructions.

Qualifications:

Qualifications: - At least 5 years’ experience in an aviation maintenance or manufacturing environment. - Experience with work production and scheduling. - Ability to maintain a SECRET Clearance. - Proven ability to lead and coordinate other artisans. - Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools. - Knowledge of manufacturing processes and shop efficiency is preferred. - Organizational and leadership abilities. - Communication and interpersonal skills. - Computer literate including Microsoft Office applications. Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands: - Work in production facility and maintenance shop or warehouse environment and may be required to stand for extended periods. Preferred Qualifications: - Associates degree in Aviation Management, or Business Administration, Management, or Program Management, or equivalent degree in related field. - Experience managing available resources in time sensitive situations preferred. - Experience in ISO 9001 is desired. - Baccalaureate degree in Business Administration, Management, Program Management, or equivalent degree in related field - Experience with work production and scheduling preferred. Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands: - Work in normal office, production facility and maintenance shop or warehouse environment and may be required to stand for extended periods.
