Akin’s Nursery is an 80 year, family-owned garden center dedicated to exceptional customer service and expert plant care. We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Office Manager to keep our daily operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily office operations, ensuring efficiency and organization
- Manage administrative tasks, including checking PO Box, recording daily sales, making deposits, and ensuring supplies are stocked
- Handle bookkeeping duties, such as invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll
- Assist with customer inquiries, phone calls, and front-desk duties as needed
- Assist Landscape Manager with: creating Landscaping estimates, invoices, and plant lists
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Office Manager, Administrative Assistant, or similar role
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Proficiency in Quickbooks
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
