Description:
The DevOps Engineer is responsible for system administration, maintenance, upgrades, installation, test, integration, and configuration of survey, collection, and geo-location systems and software to include prototypes, development, operational, test, and lab systems and products.
Required Skills:
- Recent experience within the last three years: Kubernetes
- Recent experience within the last three years: containerization
- Recent experience within the last three years: cluster orchestration
- Provide technical and engineering Tier 3 support by troubleshooting system failures or degradations
- Restore equipment to full operational capabilities
- Provide 24/7 call in support for operational system critical discrepancies
- Integrate, test, and optimize systems with enterprise infrastructures, services, and databases.
- Develop technical documentation
- Provide technical services assistance to government engineers in the creation, updating and management of system product line standards and databases
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science. May substitute four years' experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree. May substitute two years' experience with MS in Engineering or CS
- Eight (8) years' experience with software and system deployments, Linux system admin, containerization, cloud deployments, DevSecOps
- Recent experience within the last three years: Kubernetes, using containerization and cluster orchestration
- Poly Date within the last seven (7) years
