Role Overview:
Akina Pharmacy, a leading family business, seeks a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join their team. As a key member, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently filling and labeling prescriptions, while prioritizing a fill-management queue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Filling and dispensing prescriptions with appropriate packaging and labeling
- Maintaining systems for dispensing and inventory control
- Accurately maintaining inventory of batched/stocked medications
- Providing pick-up service to walk-in patients
- Assisting with various tasks in the pharmacy to support overall operations
Performance Metrics:
- Filling and dispensing prescriptions (200-300 per day)
- Managing quality-control tasks within our electronic quality management system (5-10 per week)
- Processing in-person patient pick-ups (15-20 per day)
