The Position
Data Analyst and BI Specialist

Overview :
The Data Analyst and BI Specialist will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines, managing our BI platforms, and ensuring the availability of accurate and actionable data insights. This role requires a hands-on expert who can work independently to handle the entire data lifecycle.
Essential Functions :
- Build and maintain ETL pipelines to ensure seamless integration of diverse data sources (ERP, CRM, e-commerce platforms)
- Optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing to support BI initiatives.
- Develop and manage DOMO / Power BI dashboards and reports to provide insights to stakeholders
- Partner with business leaders to identify reporting needs and define KPIs
- Implement data governance and quality best practices
- Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation
- Implement and manage indexing strategies to enhance database performance
- Train business users on DOMO self-service capabilities
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment of deliverables
- Utilize Python for data processing, automation, and advanced analytics tasks
- Maintain automation jobs on Linux VM machines
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across all data platforms
- Monitor and troubleshoot data systems to ensure high availability and performance
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and analytics
