Akira Technologies, Inc. is building a talent pipeline for a future IT Installation Manager position. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing IT installation projects, overseeing deployments, and ensuring the successful implementation of IT infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of computer hardware, peripherals, network devices, and installation procedures.
Ideal candidates should be based in the DC Metro Area or willing to relocate.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee IT installation and deployment projects from inception to completion.
- Ensure proper installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware, peripherals, and network devices.
- Coordinate cabling and infrastructure setup according to project specifications.
- Develop and enforce best practices for IT installation and maintenance.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely project delivery.
- Identify and resolve installation-related issues, minimizing downtime and disruptions.
- Maintain documentation and provide regular updates on installation progress.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Five (5) to eight (8) years of experience managing IT installations, deployments, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of computer hardware, peripherals, and network devices.
- Familiarity with installation procedures, cabling, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification.
- Experience managing large-scale IT deployment projects.
- Knowledge of industry best practices for IT infrastructure and deployment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Salary Range: $115,000 - $150,000
