Akira Technologies, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Network Administrator to support and manage our enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be CCNA certified and possess knowledge in Cisco configurations, network security, virtualization technologies, and Risk Management Framework (RMF) implementation. This role involves ensuring optimal network performance, maintaining security compliance, and supporting IT operations across various platforms and systems.
This is an onsite role supporting a government client in Overland, MO. Secret clearance or higher is required.
Job Responsibilities
- Under general supervision, responsible for the acquisition, installation, maintenance, and usage of the organization's local area network.
- Assists with network performance and maintains network security.
- Ensures that security procedures are implemented and enforced.
- Installs all network software. Evaluates, develops and maintains telecommunications systems.
- Troubleshoots network problems.
- Helps with establishing network policies, procedures, and standards and ensures their conformance with information systems and organization objectives.
- Frequently reports to a PC support manager or Senior network Administrator.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (BS), Associate of Arts (AA).
- 0-3 years of experience.
- Active Secret Clearance.
- CCNA Certified.
- Exposure to STIG Viewer or Other related STIG tools, VCenter, VMWARE, and EXSI configuration.
- Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, CISCO configurations of firewall, firepower, switches, servers, wireless access points/controllers, DHCP, Radius, Cert Authentication, LDAP, and VPN.
- Understand Risk Management Framework (RMF) and how to incorporate RMF steps within tasks.
- Information Technology Enterprise Solutions – 3 Services (ITES-3S).
Salary Range: $45,000 to $60,000
