Akira Technologies, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator to support and manage our enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be CCNA certified and possess expertise in Cisco configurations, network security, virtualization technologies, and Risk Management Framework (RMF) implementation. This role involves ensuring optimal network performance, maintaining security compliance, and supporting IT operations across various platforms and systems.
This is an onsite role supporting a government client in Overland, MO. Secret clearance or higher is required.
Job Responsibilities
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco firewalls, Firepower, switches, servers, and wireless access points/controllers.
- Implement and maintain STIG compliance using STIG Viewer or other related tools.
- Configure and manage VPN, DHCP, RADIUS, LDAP, and certificate authentication systems.
- Ensure the enforcement of security procedures and compliance with RMF.
- Manage and configure VMware vCenter, ESXi, and other virtualization environments.
- Maintain and troubleshoot Windows Operating Systems in a networked environment.
- Apply Risk Management Framework (RMF) steps within network-related tasks.
- Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments to maintain compliance.
- Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Troubleshoot connectivity and security problems affecting enterprise systems.
- Establish and implement network policies, procedures, and standards to align with organizational goals.
- Provide training and support to end-users and IT staff on network operations and security best practices.
Job Qualifications
- CCNA certification (Required).
- Experience with STIG Viewer or related STIG compliance tools.
- Proficiency in Cisco networking technologies, including firewalls, switches, wireless controllers, and security appliances.
- Hands-on experience with VMware, vCenter, and ESXi configuration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and network security protocols.
- Understanding of Risk Management Framework (RMF) and its integration into IT operations.
- Experience with authentication protocols such as RADIUS, LDAP, and Cert Authentication.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize network configurations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Active Secret security clearance or higher.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a DoD or government IT environment.
- Security or higher security certification.
- Knowledge of ITES-3S contract requirements (if applicable).
Salary Range: $80,000 to $115,000
