Manufacturing Engineer
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support a leading automotive T-1/T-2 supplier of injection molded parts.
Main Responsibilities
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities across the shop floor, ensuring seamless integration of new products and processes.
- Develop and implement PLC programming for injection molding and automation technologies, optimizing production efficiency and reducing costs.
- Recalibrate equipment to improve process quality and reduce takt time during series production, resulting in increased productivity and competitiveness.
- Collaborate with site quality teams to uphold Quality Management Systems (QMS), ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Drive Lean initiatives throughout the shop floor, identifying areas for improvement and implementing sustainable solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Industrial Engineering.
- At least 4 years of experience in automotive manufacturing engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an injection molding shop.
- Strong knowledge of controls engineering for molding equipment.
- Comprehensive understanding of injection molding processes.
- Proficiency in CAD for manufacturing.
