The Role
We're looking for a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our NPI team, you'll be responsible for supporting our NPI activities across the shop floor. This includes PLC programming of injection molding and automation technologies, recalibration of equipment, and collaboration with site quality topics.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Supporting NPI activities with expertise in PLC programming.
- Recalibrating equipment for process improvement and takt time reduction.
- Collaborating with site quality topics to uphold QMS standards.
- Driving Lean initiatives throughout the shop floor.
- Advising and supporting the tooling department during NPI/launch phases.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably industrial.
- 4 years experience in automotive manufacturing engineering.
- 2 years experience in an injection molding shop.
- Strong knowledge of controls engineering for molding equipment.
- Strong knowledge of injection molding processes.
- Knowledge of CAD for manufacturing.
