What are the responsibilities and job description for the Algorithm Developer PHD/Masters position at Akkodis?
Akkodis is recruiting for a Researcher, Computer Vision AI/ML engineer with one of our Fortune 500 partners. This is an onsite contract long-term position with pay range of $45 an hour to $60 an hour, depending on experience, education and location, benefits and work life balance. This hybrid role will be based in Warren, MI and requires being onsite 3 days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Provide traffic engineering services for algorithm design, algorithm development, algorithm validation, system integration, data processing, system testing, and technical report writing, based on client requirements and guidance.
Requirements:
- Masters or PhD in Analytics, ML/AI, Robotics, or other similar field.
- Advanced skills in Python and/or C/C
- Previous experience with CAN bus, OpenCV, MatLab.
- Previous experience with AI/ML, Computer Vision, YOLO.
- Previous data projects with vehicle telemetry data, Computer Vision, autonomous driving, or robotics
- Experience with an automotive embedded ECU is preferred
- Working knowledge of CAN Bus Serial communications is preferred
