Akkodis is currently seeking a highly skilled Automotive Powertrain Optimization Specialist to join their team. This role will involve working on powertrain calibration for vehicle performance, emissions, and energy efficiency.
- Job Responsibilities:
- Setting control system parameters to optimize energy usage, torque security, emissions, fuel consumption, performance, combustion, and diagnostics
- Optimizing engine/vehicle systems according to engineering targets for performance, emissions, start ability, secure operations, and diagnostic functions
- Defining e-drive, engine, and vehicle tests to meet customer performance requirements
- Analyzing measurement data using advanced tools and techniques
- Fine-tuning test programs for optimization under automatic operation
- Evaluating and presenting powertrain, engine, and vehicle test results
- Verifying engine and vehicle emissions control devices for capability to achieve required emission levels
- SUPPORTING CUSTOMERS AND ENGINEERS FROM OTHER DEPARTMENTS IN PROPULSION AND ENGINE PERFORMANCE RELATED TOPICS
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- 1 years of experience in edrive or engine controls or powertrain experience (experience can include co-op, internship, professional experience, or experience with Formula SAE, Formula Hybrid, SolarCar, FutureCar, EcoCAR or other vehicle)
