Akkodis is seeking a Buyer for a Contract job with a client in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate has strong skills in managing subcontractor performance and using MRP systems for procurement planning.
Rate Range: $30/hour to $35/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Buyer job responsibilities include:
Managing subcontractor performance and ensuring on-time delivery
Reconciling consignment inventory with third-party suppliers
Facilitating physical and virtual inventory transfers with suppliers and warehouses
Coordinating with Accounts Payable and suppliers to resolve payment issues
Planning procurement using MRP, item history, and buyer judgment
Desired Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in a related field
1 years of experience in procurement or 5 years with a high school diploma
Strong knowledge of MRP systems
Ability to manage subcontractor performance and on-time delivery
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Experience with inventory reconciliation and supplier coordination.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
