Summary : TheCADDrafterisresponsibleforpreparing,drafting,andrevisingcommercialandutilityplansetsforphotovoltaic(PV)andBatteryStorage(BESS)systeminstallations,includingsitesurveysketches.Thisroleinvolvescreatingelectricalschematics,wiringdiagrams,physicallayouts,structuraldetails,andequipmentspecifications.Thecandidatewillcollaboratecloselywithengineering,design,andestimatingteamstoensureoveralldesigncoordination.
Responsibilities :
WorkundertheguidanceoftheSeniorDesignManagerorotherDesignEngineers.
SupportDesignandEngineeringteamsbycreatingsiteplans,singlelinedrawings(DCandAC),andconstructiondetails.
ProducedetailedtechnicaldrawingsandschematicsusingCADsoftware.
Reviewdrawingsforaccuracyandcompleteness.
Coordinatewithprojectteamstomeetdrawingdeadlines.
Ensuredesignscomplywithengineeringstandardsandsafetycodes.
Makerevisionsbasedonprojectstakeholderfeedback.
Maintainaccuraterecordsofdrawingsandrevisions.
Attendtrainingsessionsonnewproducts,installationmethods,andsafetyprocedures.
StayupdatedonCADsoftwaretoolsandtechniquestoimproveefficiency.
Prioritizetasksandprojects,workingindependentlyorwithinateam.
Requirements :
Abilitytocreateandrevisedrawingsfromverbalorwritteninstructions.
Proficiencyindraftingwiththeabilitytoworkindependently.
Understandingoftechnicaldesigns,QA / QCprocedures,andengineeringpolicies.
Attentiontodetailandaccuracyincreatingtechnicaldrawings.
Strongorganizationalandprioritizationskills.
Proficiencyin2DAutoCAD,MicrosoftOffice,andrelevanttools.

Education / Experience :
AssociatedegreeorcertificateinCAD,Drafting,EngineeringTechnology,orrelatedfield.
Minimum5yearsofexperienceasaCADDrafter.
ProficientinCADtheoriesandprinciples
Knowledgeofconstructionmethods,materials,andbuildingcodesisbeneficial.

Pay Details : $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
