Akkodis is seeking a Clinical Data Analyst II for a 12-month contract with a client in Sylmar CA, 91342 (Onsite).
Title: Clinical Data Analyst II
Location: Sylmar CA, 91342 (Onsite)
Contract: 12 months contract
Pay Rate: $46/hr. to $50/hr. (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)
Shift Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST
Job Description:
- Data Analyst is responsible for pulling data to support the trending of product complaints and medical device reports utilizing data that resides in the complaint handling database for all product lines.
- This will include detailed data reports (e.g. graphs, charts, tables) prepared for routine trending, senior management reviews, ad-hoc requests, and cross-functional requests as needed (e.g. Regulatory, Quality Engineering, R&D).
- The Data Analyst will establish and maintain complex reporting formulas and templates using reporting tools such as Excel and other databases (e.g. Business Objects).
- This position will be working under general supervision and is responsible for various special projects related to the data systems aspects of the clinical studies conducted.
- These special projects will include implementing new, updated, and/or enhanced systems that are responsible for data collection for clinical studies as well as providing assistance to multiple customers globally, externally, and internally.
Skills Required:
- Good Organizational Skills Detail Oriented and Ability to multitask.
- Proficient Project Management Skills.
- Proficient ability to work with database management systems, along with knowledge of database terminology and technology.
- Skilled with MS Office products including Word, Excel, and Access, also, proficient usage of Oracle.
- Knowledge of Relational Databases and demonstrated ability to generate queries using Query languages like Structured Query Language (SQL).
- Proficient knowledge and experience building/customizing Clinical Trial Management Software Applications.
Education:
- A bachelor’s degree is required in any business discipline, such as business, computer science, communication, health sciences, etc.
