Akkodis is seeking a Data Center Operations Manager for a Contract job with a client in Austin, TX . The ideal candidate will manage data center operations, ensuring maintenance of critical infrastructure and safety protocols. They will lead the team in executing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.

Rate Range : $75 / hour to $85 / hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Data Center Operations Manager job responsibilities include :

Overseeing the maintenance of critical infrastructure systems.

Managing a team of engineers and contractors.

Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Developing and implementing maintenance plans for the facility.

Monitoring performance metrics and ensuring operational efficiency.

Desired Qualifications :

High School diploma or GED equivalent.

7-10 years of engineering experience, with 5-7 years in a supervisory role.

Hands-on experience with data center systems, including UPS, generators, and switchgear.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software.

Experience with Corrigo, MCIM, Salesforce, Zendesk, and Service Now platforms.

Ability to read and interpret technical documents, safety rules, and maintenance instructions.

Demonstrated ability to manage contractors and vendors effectively.

Pay Details : $75.00 to $85.00 per hour
