Data Scientist's job responsibilities include:
- Design and implement data storage and processing solutions on the Snowflake platform.
- Handle data migration activities and ensure smooth integration.
- Optimize complex SQL queries for performance and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality data solutions.
- Utilize Python scripting, PySpark ETL, and PL/SQL for automation and data engineering.
- Leverage the AWS cloud platform for cloud-based data operations.
- Apply best practices in software development, including using git-based source control.
- Understand and work with Snowflake's architecture, including virtual warehouses, storage layers, and security features.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of hands-on experience in data engineering and data science roles.
- Proven expertise in Snowflake data platform and cloud-based data warehousing.
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and data migration processes.
