Akkodis is seeking a Database Developer for a Contract job with a client in Plano, TX / Jersey City, NJ(Hybrid) . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with database design and data modeling, while also utilizing tools like Jenkins / Ansible for deployment.

Rate Range : $64 / hour to $66 / hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Database Developer job responsibilities include :

Developing and enhancing databases supporting financial forecasting models, ensuring alignment with business requirements.

Designing and implementing database structures and data models for optimal performance.

Collaborating with customers and technology teams to gather and refine database requirements.

Utilizing tools like Jenkins and Ansible for seamless software deployment.

Troubleshooting and resolving database issues, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

Conducting performance tuning and optimizing SQL queries in MS SQL and Oracle environments.

Identifying potential risks and recommending improvements for database design and functionality.

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

3-5 years of experience in database development, specifically with MS SQL Enterprise and Oracle databases.

Strong experience in database design and data modeling for large-scale applications.

Familiarity with database deployment tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, or other similar technologies.

Pay Details : $64.00 to $66.00 per hour
