Akkodis is seeking a Database Developer for a Contract job with a client in Plano, TX / Addison, TX(Hybrid) . Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance database systems, ensuring data security, and optimizing queries for efficiency.

Rate Range : $65 / hour to $68 / hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Database Developer job responsibilities include :

Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance database systems for Oracle, SQL Server, and MongoDB.

reating and optimizing database schemas, tables, and indexes to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.

Writing and optimizing complex SQL queries to ensure optimal database performance and responsiveness.

Developing and maintaining ETL processes using tools like SSIS, Python, and shell scripts.

Implementing and managing database security measures, including access control, encryption, and authentication.

Managing data migration projects, particularly migrating from SQL Server to MongoDB, while ensuring data integrity.

Collaborating with developers and IT teams to ensure seamless data access and application integration.

Documenting database architecture, processes, and procedures for ongoing reference and improvements.

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in database development and administration.

Proficiency in database design, data modeling, and performance optimization.

Experience in data migration projects, specifically from SQL Server to MongoDB.

Pay Details : $65.00 to $68.00 per hour
