Avionics Maintenance Position
Akkodis is looking for a skilled Avionics Technician to join their team in the Erlanger, KY area.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, modifying, and repairing aircraft at the maintenance facility and remote locations. This includes installing and testing complex avionics equipment and electrical systems on aircraft or spacecraft.
Main Responsibilities:
- Inspecting and modifying aircraft to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Installing and testing avionics equipment and electrical systems
- Performing soldering and component assembly tasks
- Diagnosing and resolving avionics problems
- Organizing and maintaining ground support and test equipment
- Analyzing flight test data to diagnose malfunctions
Qualifications:
- Five (5) years of experience in aircraft maintenance
- Previous experience and advanced training with Boeing series aircraft (737, 747-400, and 747-800 Gen Fam)
- Valid passport and willingness to travel for recovery and special projects
- English language proficiency
- Microsoft software familiarity
- Ability to work rotating schedules
