Akkodis is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Lake Bluff, IL(Remote) . The Electrical Engineer I will support engineering projects in Cardiac Arrhythmia and Heart Failure, focusing on circuit design, testing, and ensuring RoHS compliance.

Rate Range : $18 / hour to $20 / hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Electrical Engineer job responsibilities include :

Designing and testing electrical circuits and systems

Leading small-scale design change efforts

Developing system, analog, digital, and firmware designs

Ensuring compliance with RoHS and other medical standards

Completing documentation to verify performance feasibility.

Desired Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or Electronics and Communication

5-10 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in medical device development

Proficiency in analog, digital, and firmware design

Familiarity with semiconductor chips and component characterization

Ability to lead small-scale design change efforts and participate in cross-functional engineering teams

Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and testing skills in electrical systems.

Pay Details : $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
