AKKODIS is currently seeking Electrical Engineering Manager for a client in Syracuse, NY. This is a direct hire position with a well-established organization.

Responsibilities of the Electrical Engineering Manager Job Syracuse, NY :

Lead a team of qualified engineers on hardware related projects

Participate in requirements gathering, system architecture design, and risk analysis.

Optimize code performance, reliability, and efficiency using industry-standard development tools and best practices.

Lead team in the Design, develop, and test embedded control software for microcontrollers, PLCs, and other control hardware.

Develop and implement real-time control algorithms to enhance system performance and ensure optimal product operation.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware, mechanical, and software engineers, to ensure seamless integration of control systems.

Ensure debugging, troubleshooting, and validation of embedded software and hardware.

Create documentation for design, development, and testing processes to support production and maintenance.

Desired Qualification of the Electrical Engineering Manager job in Syracuse, NY :

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering

3-5 yrs of management experience

5 years of experience in embedded systems development, ideally in control system applications.

Proficiency in C and experience with embedded software development tools (MPLAB X a plus).

Strong understanding of control theory, real-time systems, and signal processing.

Experience with microcontrollers, FPGAs, and digital signal processors (DSPs).

Familiarity with communication protocols (CAN, SPI, UART, I2C) and their implementation in embedded systems.

Experience with hardware debugging tools like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and emulators.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
