Electronics Test Technician

Akkodis is seeking an Electronics Test Technician position onsite in Hollister, CA.

• Rate: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
• Duration: 9 months Contract-to-Hire (Direct Hire/Full Time/Salaried)
• Location: Hollister, CA

Responsibilities

The Electronics Test Technician at is responsible for conducting complex destructive and non-destructive testing of electronic products. This role involves interpreting dimensional drawings, performing test setups, and ensuring design verification and acceptance testing in accordance with established procedures. The technician will work in a test lab environment, utilizing various test equipment and tools to troubleshoot and calibrate systems, while also participating in process improvement initiatives.

• Conduct electronics testing, troubleshooting.
• Conduct reliability testing.
• Use test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and environmental chambers.
• Interpret dimensional drawings and perform test setups.
• Responsible for design verification and acceptance testing of pyrotechnic and electronic products.
• Conduct NDT Testing.
• Review system-level Acceptance Test Procedures for a variety of pyrotechnic and electrical devices.
• Troubleshoot, calibrate, and adjust test equipment, components, and systems.
• Correct malfunctions by adjusting or replacing parts or components.
• Use small hand and power tools along with various measuring and testing devices.
• Perform duties associated with specialized IT project-based activities.
• Participate in process improvement meetings and team 5S activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 2 yrs electronics test or calibration. Manufacturing setting, prefer aerospace
• Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and environmental chambers.
• IPC constraints exp
• FOD control, able to understand ESD concerns.
• Oscilloscopes, DM to capture values.
• Thermal chamber experience.
• Thermatron, test equity,
