Akkodis is recruiting for an HSE Specialist for an aerospace manufacturer in the Carson, CA area. This is an onsite contract postition with with a pay rate of $25/hour-$35/hour, depending on experience, education and location.
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
Description
- HSE Legal Framework applicable to the site.
- Company standards and their requirements.
- Identification, Evaluation and Control of risks and impacts (Analysis tools)
- Knowledge of Chemical Substances, Explosive Atmospheres, Asbestos, Confined Spaces, Ergonomics, Hazardous Work.
- Event investigation methods (5W's H, 8D's, Root cause).
- Technical specifications of personal protective equipment, emergency equipment and devices, machinery and operational equipment.
- Integrated Management Systems ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO 50001, ISO 19110, ISO 9001, Responsible Sourcing
- Industrial hygiene
- Environmental control
- Emergency management (including chemical emergencies)
- Identification, Evaluation and Control of risks and impacts (Analysis tools)
- Bachelors Degree in related field
- 3-5 years experience in a manufacturing enviornment.
