Akkodis is seeking a Frond End Developer for a Contract job with a client in Riverside, RI (Hybrid). You will be responsible for remediating the ADA findings and ensuring compliance with WCAG 2.1A standards for the HR Connect application.

Rate Range : $62 / hour to $64 / hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Frond End Developer job responsibilities include :

Implementing accessibility improvements using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, focusing on ARIA attributes, headers, lists, and form elements.

Testing accessibility features with screen readers like JAWS and ensuring proper keyboard navigation.

Ensuring the overall DOM hierarchy adheres to best practices for accessibility.

Collaborating with development teams to address and resolve front-end accessibility issues.

Desired Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Web Development, or a related field.

5 years of experience in front-end development.

Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1A standards and best practices for accessibility.

Experience with screen readers like JAWS and familiarity with assistive technologies for testing.

Pay Details : $62.00 to $64.00 per hour
