Akkodis is seeking Infrastructure Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Pennington, NJ (Hybrid). The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and socializing the infrastructure strategy and design for Payment and Merchant Services Technology.
Rate Range: $66/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Infrastructure Engineer job responsibilities include:
Leading and participating in the design, development, and implementation of complex system engineering activities involving cross-functional support, systems programming, and data center capabilities.
Establishing input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility, subsystem design, and integration.
Designing and maintaining application infrastructure architecture to ensure high availability, scalability, load balancing, and resiliency.
Identifying and addressing technical requirements for new projects, including hardware, software, security configurations, and application dependencies.
Troubleshooting production issues and handling Priority1/2/3 incidents.
Managing teams, reviewing project designs, and working closely with multiple teams for implementation.
Creating technical documents, deployment guides, and sharing them with deployment and production support teams.
Identifying risks associated with LOB applications and providing solutions to mitigate risks.
Leading and participating in conference calls with technical and business teams.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in designing and engineering solutions for large business capabilities, with expertise in cloud technologies.
Expertise in designing and engineering applications hosted in external clouds such as Azure and AWS.
Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools like Ansible, Jenkins, or XLR.

Pay Details: $66.00 to $68.00 per hour
