Java Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Java Developer (with Cloud ArchitectExp) for a Contract job with a client in Chicago, IL/Chandler, AZ. Ideally, I am looking for applicants with a solid background in the banking and financial services industry.

The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Job responsibilities include:

• Experience implementing or architecting high-performing, resilient, and scalable enterprise systems

• Must have played a key role in an architecture development or testing organization

• Advise management on opportunities and assess risks.

• Develop and publish architecture reference material and design patterns to drive designs for consensus and approval, being able to translate easily from technical to non-technical language.

• Expertise in applications using React, Java EE, Spring MVC, Selenium, ALM, qTest, Angular, node.js

• Knowledge of Application servers like JBoss EAP, Tomcat, Weblogic, IBM Websphere

• Knowledge of Secure coding practices.

• Knowledge of code quality assurance tools like SonarQube

• Experience with GIT/Bitbucket

• Proficient with DevOps / CICD and code packaging tools like Maven

• Experience in working in an Agile team and using JIRA (and familiar with SAFe Agile Practices).

• Good Verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Pay Details: $58.00 to $60.00 per hour
